What's in a name?
Rockingham Fine Arts Association (RFAA) is the legal name for the organization previously known as Spitzer Art Center which was located in the Spitzer House on West Main Street in Harrisonburg. When we left the Spitzer house, we adopted the name Rocktown Arts and that is our "doing business as" name.
No matter the name, we represent the same outstanding arts organization dedicated to our community and we thank everyone for your support over the years as we have changed and adapted to different locations and situations.

RFAA & VMFA
Did you know that Rockingham Fine Arts Association and the VMFA Virginia Museum of Fine Arts are Statewide Community Partners? Our connection with the VMFA allows us the opportunity to share a workshop each year with our community. This year, we gifted board member and Rockingham County Public Schools educator, Brandy Somers, a Tile Mural Workshop with artist Beryl Solla. Check out the photos from the workshop here!
